The bases of our dog walk are made from aluminum. The aluminum bases are lightweight - never need painting - and won?t rust. Each base folds up flat for easy transportation and storage. By adjusting the chains that connects the legs of the dog walk bases - you can set the height of the middle plank at regulation height or at any lower height down to only inches from the ground for training purposes. When you order the dog walk with aluminum planks - the ramps come with primed plywood and anti-slip slats and hinges for attaching to the bases. Note: Although not necessary - optional supports (middle plank and the ramp supports) that provide additional rigidity if the walk is going to be used in trails.
